Three things happen at once.
Adults build practical English — the kind that helps at work, at school meetings, and at the doctor’s office.
Rotating topics beyond language — practical skills and conversations the community asks for.
While parents are in class, kids get their own structured time — games and educational activities built for them.
A parent in class and a kid in their own activities, under the same roof, on the same afternoon. That’s the point.
The scheduling is not an accident. When both things happen at the same time, in the same building, families don’t have to choose between a parent learning English and a kid having somewhere to be.
Children’s activities are not decoration. It’s where a kid gets to be a kid for two hours — regardless of what’s happening in their family that month.
Two teams, so no one is stretched thin.
Volunteer teachers lead the English class and workshops. A separate team runs activities for the kids. Enough hands that no single person is stretched between both rooms.
Fifteen adults learning. Twenty kids learning too. Teach, help, or give.
All three keep both rooms running. Pick whichever fits your week.
